claro fair trade is the specialist shop for all types of specialist products from the southern hemisphere and operates on the principle of fair trade. It is represented all over Switzerland with a dense network of sales outlets. The change in its CI/CD required a corresponding adaptation of the website.
CS2 was commissioned by claro fair trade to develop the concept and implement the relaunch. The design was by the Zurich-based inform agency. The result was an appealing website that explains the company’s activities and products. The product area content was adjusted to the target groups. End users thus obtain different information to the sales outlets, which can retrieve special product information in a secure, password-protected area. The store search function, using which claro outlets can be found by postal code, town or a complete text query, provides added value for visitors.
The website was realised with open source content management system Typo3 Version 4.0. The consistent delineation of design and content facilitates quick and easy recording and modification of content.
