E-COMMERCE RELAUNCH |FOR HOUSE OF SOUND
House of Sound is a specialist shop dealing in studio technology, electronic musical instruments, DJ equipment and public address systems. It is our declared aim to be a reliable and competent partner for musicians, producers, DJ’s, event organisers and club owners, providing the right solution for any problem and for any budget.
Implementation
CS2 set up a shop front end for easy and trust-promoting e-commerce. Moreover, the ERP provider created an interface for products, prices, orders and availability enabling seamless processing of product and order data.
Functions such as “send to friend”, visual availability display, wish lists and product zoom enhance the service for the user. In addition, Magento’s search engine optimisation sees to it that the products can also be found via Google.
Technology
The website was built based on Magento Commerce and enables House of Sound to further enrich the products delivered by the ERP system with marketing data. Product images and inventories are thereby automatically synchronised.
Armin Brunner is an e-Commerce Consultant at CS2. He studied Business Administration at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach (DHBW) in Germany and has several years’ experience in complex software and internet projects. The focus of his work lies with e-commerce solutions using Magento Commerce. He also advises CS2 clients in the specialist fields of search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), social media marketing and affiliate marketing. Armin Brunner lives in Weil am Rhein, is married and has one child.
