CS2 set up a merchandise shop for SC BERN, one of the most successful ice hockey teams in Switzerland.

SC Bern sells a broad range of fan-items. On one hand, the various players’ kits can be ordered, and on the other, you can find practically anything from key rings to clocks. The task for CS2 consisted of building a simple and well-functioning front end that would appeal to a broad based target group. Young and old fans order from the SC Bern shop. In addition, the shop was linked to the ERP system so that orders would not have to be manually processed.

The merchandise shop is based on Magento Commerce and was augmented by interfaces to the ERP system. All functions in the front end are based on standard Magento functions.
Jürg Simon studied German, English and History at the University of Basel and completed his course in Film Studies at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Following his return to Switzerland he worked for 15 years as an independent director of documentaries and author of screenplays, advertising copy and multimedia programmes. He is responsible for concept development, online marketing and project management at CS2. Jürg Simon lives near Basel.
